I was working with Baraka’s father when she was born and can remember the joy of her parents on her arrival. I last saw Baraka when she was about 7 in Bahrain with her beautiful head in a book and explaning to me how different it was from London. I have kept in touch with her family and although I have been living for 10 years in Australia I have followed her amazing story of faith and her journey to achieve so much in a life cut short.
