Cambridge Central Mosque
The Baraka Gallery, situated above the main prayer hall at Cambridge Central Mosque, holds a special place within Europe’s first eco-friendly mosque and the city’s inaugural purpose-built mosque. It serves as a testament to the passion and dedication of Baraka, who played a vital role in making this project a reality.
Throughout the mosque’s construction, Baraka spearheaded a fundraising initiative known as “Baraka’s Walk for Eco Cambridge Mosque.” This heartfelt endeavour successfully raised an impressive £200,000 in support of the mosque’s eco-friendly vision.
Visiting the Baraka Gallery allows visitors to appreciate its aesthetic beauty and contribute to the ongoing sustainability efforts championed by Baraka and the mosque.
